Position Overview
Total Body Performance is a premier health optimization center located in the Kings Island/North Maineville area. We're the only facility that combines chiropractic care, strength training, recovery therapies, nutritional guidance, and hormone optimization coordination under one roof.
Led by Dr. Paul Books, our mission is to help clients achieve complete human optimization through personalized, evidence-based programs. We serve a discerning clientele focused on premium health and wellness results.
We're seeking an energetic, certified Group Fitness Trainer to lead our strength training classes and help clients achieve their health and performance goals. Job Description
Class Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 5:00am - 11:00am (6 classes daily)
Saturday: 8:00am - 11:00am (3 classes)
Class Size: 1-20 participants per class
Class Length: 1 hour each
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead engaging, safe, and effective group strength training classes
Provide modifications and progressions for all fitness levels
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workout environment
Build positive relationships with members and support retention
Collaborate with Dr. Books on client progress and program adjustments
Assist with equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
Support new member orientations and fitness assessments
Required Qualifications
Certifications (Must Have):
Current CPR/AED certification
One of these preferred fitness certifications:
NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)
NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)
ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine)
ACE (American Council on Exercise)
Experience & Skills:
2+ years of group fitness or personal training experience
Strong knowledge of strength training principles and proper form
Excellent communication and motivational skills
Ability to work with diverse fitness levels and ages
Professional, punctual, and reliable
Early morning availability (5am start time)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
Experience with functional movement and corrective exercise
Additional/specialty certifications (bonus)
Other NCCA-accredited fitness certifications (bonus)
