We believe in treating the whole body rather than treating an injury or medical issue in isolation. That’s why we offer an extensive range of services to help improve movement and function and total body performance.

Joints of the spine and extremities often become restricted and may cause pain. Our chiropractor, Dr. Books, can utilize chiropractic manipulation, also known as an adjustment, to restore the natural range of motion and proper function of the affected vertebrae or joints.

Taping over or around muscles to either prevent over contraction or stimulate under-active muscles. Affecting deeper layers of fascial tissue by manipulating the overlying skin and muscles. Creating space under skin to allow lymphatic drainage. This is good for reducing swelling or bruising, more!
Cupping pulls the superficial skin and tissue upwards, this relieves tension on the underlying muscles, tendons, and nerves. This tissue decompression promotes blood flow, oxygen and relaxation to tight and painful muscles. Blood flow = Healing!!
NMR is a technique used by therapists to restore normal body movement patterns. Your nerves and muscles work together to produce movement. Nerves send signals between your muscles and your brain about where, when and how fast to move.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a more advanced form of flexibility training, which involves both the stretching and contracting of the muscle group being targeted. PNF stretching is one of the most effective forms of stretching for improving flexibility and increasing range of motion.

PIR, Post Isometric Relax is a manual therapy that uses the gentle muscle contractions of the patient to relax and lengthen muscles and normalize joint motion. Its a voluntary contraction of the patient’s muscles against a distinctly controlled counterforce from a precise position and in a specific direction.
Pin and Stretch works by breaking up adhesions, which are dense collections of scar tissue that form when muscles and connective tissues are injured. When the scar tissue binds between your muscles, it limits flexibility, causing pain and stiffness in muscles and joints.

During a Pin and Stretch session, we will identify the location of the scar tissue and restore proper blood flow so the area can heal.
